Fire insider said bob will hold the team together for a few weeks as there could be one last possible exhibition game. This was confirmed by my ticket rep. Possibly a last game tribute to stoitchkov? I assume after the mls cup date.

Fire Insider says the same thing.

Would be a good tribute match for Hristo.

Fire Insider Marcin says the same thing; I already indicated several times that unused Bonus Game tickets might still be usable for at least one exhibition game in late October (after MLS Cup) or in November. The opposite side (their lot) would preferably be some team from Europe (which would be feasible if the game is played during one of the UEFA dates (i.e. for European Championship qualifiers). I believe there is one such date in early November--I would have to check. Also, the team should stay together at least until the end of November, training and possibly playing more exhibition games, not necessarily in Naperville or Chicagoland.

the Fire will play Boca Juniors in their last match of the season. Wait a minute, I take that back, they'll play Pele's old team -- Santos, er I mean they'll play Juventus.....nope, it's the US nats in a warm up.....or is it....

  7. The Nats wouldn't be too far fetched.

No match against the Nats. This is definitely not happening.
