What do you guys think? It's not done, but it's a start. http://sphotos.ak.fbcdn.net/hphotos...466717744006_1115421648_1394776_3322495_n.jpg
Amazing as usual. Seriously amazing. Spreading the love: -For shirts: Is it possible to invert colors to have a red AO shirt? -Same applies for a needed AONYC banner or flag. This logo is #1 for me and I want to everywhere .
talking to different people about it and we came to an agreement that it is awesome haha. but something about it does make it seem unfinished.. too much white space in the middle? something i dunno but excellent none the less
Good vision. Love the train usage. My thoughts would be to change the font of AO-NYC to the Helvetica 'train font'.
It's an awesome concept could use a little work though. One thing we did was incorporate the font used on BPD, BFD, & BDPW equipment into our logo, along with totally ripping off Sam Adam's.
yeah..it's not done.. like i said on facebook.. i finished this while still drunk and depressed from the loss to Ghana I used Helvetica and Alte Haas Grotesk which is closer to the actual NYC typeface, but i didn't like the way it looked..too sterile for me. So I used a rough typeface. I'll keep tweaking it until it's right. Just wanted to make sure we all at least liked the idea...lol.. For a t-shirt, there will be no circle and only Join or Die on the bottom, with AO NYC on the back of the shirt. This particular design was more like a general logo instead of a shirt, flag or banner.
not a bad idea, but it offsets the "stops" on the subway line, making them not stand out as much. I'd have to reposition the borough names.
i'm gonna try maybe not "ghosting" the snake, and instead inside the circle, "ghost" a NYC subway token... it might look a little too busy, but i'm gonna try it.
I like it, very creative. I know you said it's not finished, but something to think about if you do keep the snake there is to have it a bit darker, it doesn't stand out enough. But like i said i like it so far
not really...people have sort of taken to the original idea actually. We might end up keeping it and making a flag with it. I've been too busy with other projects to work on finalizing it.
