I have a great idea for a possible location for a METROSTARS SSS location. Forget New Jersey! Now the METROSTARS can: have an easily accessible stadium to be proud of, remove many traffic hazards, and clean up New York all at the same time!

The address of this stadium? The corner of 1st Avenue and E. 42nd Street.

That's right, the UN Plaza. We could lower our trade deficit by "exporting" the UN to a more deserving nation such as France and replace it with something that really brings the world together - a cathedral of soccer. This would not just be the METROSTARS stadium. It would not just be the National stadium (all though it could be all of those things). This would be an international icon - the greatest soccer stadium in the world. They could even call it Dag Hammerskjold Arena or something like that to reflect the nobility of the goal.

Though the merchants of New York will miss all of the UN delegates spending oodles of many in their boutiques, no longer would New Yorkers have to grit their teeth at cars with diplomatic plates double-parked all over town. Tickets to every manner of show and event would be more plentiful and the stadium would have a great view of the East River. What more could anyone ask for?

How can you know how to spell Hammerskjold, but not Manhattan?

I'm curious...what traffic hazards are you speaking of?

Just wanted to leave you room to improve on my idea . . .

Actually I never mess up consonents - just vowels.

Sorry. I will write "Manhattan" a hundred times on the chalkboard before the next class.

So, you have trouble with vowel movements?

And where would you park or tailgate? In the East River?

That's where this idea belongs, preferably at the bottom.
