Rome investors to help bail out Lazio Its not the rise from the grave of Cirio, but its good news regardless. Hopefully this means we can bring in some new players.
seems like this will be enough to make the club survive. Likely not enough to keep mancini or really dip into the transfer market. Mancio to Inter may now happen, Cesar would probably follow (love to get Kallon back in a swap). Hopefully we can hang onto Fiore and Corradi, if they go then this is a mid-table team. Choosing the right coach and buying a couple young players to develop will be the key moves to make.
This article indicates the likely replacements for Mancini would (will?) be either Dino Zoff or Luciano Spalletti. http://it.sports.yahoo.com/040612/8/1hmi.html
Fiore gave his approval on Zoff yesterday, that affection goes back to euro 2000....but I've always been impressed with Spalletti's Udinese teams so he now would be my first choice. another name I read was Tasotti, a Lazio player in the early 80s who is Ancelotti's assistant now at Milan.
