Anyone know why Portuguese teams have to change the way the advertisement in front of their shirts look? They usually have to make it smaller. All the other teams shirts look the same. It's not a big deal, I'm just wondering.
This is done due to UEFA regulations stating that advertisements on jerseys should not exceed a certain size for any UEFA competition. Sporting and Porto both have to reduce the size of their sponsors logo (Portugal Telecom) to the required size. Benfica's jersey logo fits within the required specs.
