But a young 36, I must admit he looks good and plays well for his age.

Re: Fernando Couto Heading Towards Napoli???

I dont think you guys understand, Napoli is in Serie C which is the 3rd division in Italy. Why the hell would Couto go to Serie C? He can stay at Lazio and fight for a European spot (UEFA atleast).

    Re: Ricardo Batista (Fulham) (R)

Batista probably will not start the season now. Fulham could sign Villa keeper Stefan Postma for a half of season loan deal. Still though he could at least be on the bench for the Panionios match maybe even start.

I do not understand this move going to the 3rd division. But hey it is not like he needs the money.

It cant be ... it must be wrong ... To go and play in Napoli in the third division in Italy he may as well go and play in his own home country for someone like Academica de Coimbra or Vitoria de Guimaraes etc ...

I heard that he was considering an offer from a middle of the table English Team ... Seriously I know he is `` Cabecudo `` but he is not STUPID ...

I thought teams in Serie C weren't allowed to have foreigners?

Re: Fernando Couto Heading Towards Napoli???

I don`t know about that , I guess if they really wanted him they would find a way around that ... ( foreign players quotas etc ...) .

But Guy`s stop pulling my leg , I realize that Napoli is the once prestigious team where Diego Maradona once played for and I realize also that despite being in the third division (and they are really crappy on the feild by the way ..) they probably have more money than some teams in the Superliga But why would he play for a third division team in Italy when he can still play for someone in the top 7 superliga teams ...

Just look at Jorge Costa @ Porto , I realize that Co Addrianse is giving him a hard time but he can still cut it there ...

I still refuse to believe that info is wrong ... IT CANT BE !

    ESPERA CERTIFICADO INTERNACIONAL
    Fangueiro no Millwall

MOREIRA COMEÇA CAMPEONATO BELGA NO BANCO

He is a good keeper. He played really well against Liverpool when they came to Toronto.

By the way, did anybody from here go to that game? There was a huge fight in the stands between Liverpool fans and Portuguese fans. I say portuguese because two of the guys that started the fight had Benfica shirts on (Mantorras and Feher). It happen after Porto scored. It was bad, but fun to watch.
