    Ricardo Batista (Fulham) (R)

Ricardo Batista could actually start the last preseason match for Fulham. Jaroslav Drobny and Mark Crossley are both injured and the only other keeper that has a Number is Batista. Batista should also start in goal for Fulham reserves against Kingstonian today and if he does well maybe Coleman will let him start against Panionios.

He scored his first goal of the year playing on the reserves team as a 16 yr old.

[IMG] If nothing has changed, he is a striker that plays for the Southampton Reserves/U-18s that goes by the nickname Totti.

He is 19 and also plays for the U-20 Portugal National Team. He was with Setubal then Fulham got him in the January transfer window.

Maybe Benfica should sign him. It would be a good back up player.

U20 international Brandao on loan to Charlton[R]

Belenenses was willing to loan our central defender Brandao on loan to Charlton

    http://www.record.pt/noticia.asp?id=680359&idCanal=27

he passed the 15 day test in England, with Belenenses he would have a hard time winning the central defender position

    Fernando Couto Heading Towards Napoli???

The player is still on holiday and preferred not to comment the news.
Fernando Couto may be heading away from Lazio towards Napoli as the Serie C1 team is trying to lure the strong Portuguese defender to Naples.

Lazio are ready to negotiate with Napoli for the transfer of their player, but, when Couto was contacted by a local radio station to confirm the negotiations, he declined to comment the news which he only learnt about on Wednesday morning.

Could this be true? I can't beleive it

That wouldn';t surprise me because he's still playing great football and looks to have a few good years left in him.
