Maniche scored Atletico Madrid's 3rd goal in their 3-0 win over PSV.

Bosingwa delivered a great cross to assist Lampard on Chelsea's first goal in their 4-0 win over Bordeaux. He's been a great addition for Chelsea thus far. Carvalho was solid as usual, in addition to making some great defensive stops, he also made one of his trademark rash challenges combined with his instant pleading to the ref routine. A routine that happens to entertain me every time. Deco was good before being subbed off. Showed great creativity with some difficult passes that just weren't accurate enough on a few occasions.

Surprised no one has talked about CFR Cluj.

Nuno Claro, Cadu, and Dani all played against Roma today in their shock upset over Roma. But for the record, I put down CFR Cluj on the prediction table on UEFA.

Pedro Mendes scored the winner in extra-time as Rangers beat Partick Thistle FC 2-1 in the Scottish League Cup. Great to see Mendes flourishing in Scotland.

Maniche scored again over the weekend and seems to be in great form.

Petit is playing very well for Cologne at the moment. He led his new team to an important win against top-of-the-table Schalke yesterday night.

I saw the second half of the game, it was an exciting game! Petit played very well as did Geromel.

From the little that i have seen this season, Bundesliga has some great football and stadium atmosphere to offer to the world, fortunatly this season portuguese pay tv sports channel(Sportv) decided to include the Bundesliga, it was the only major league of the big 5 without coverage despite being alot better than the French league for instance.

Manny Fernandes just had a giant game in the 1 - 0 Valencia win over Valladolid . He scored a left footed low driven shout just outside the box, and he was all over the field. He actually looked like a veteran at DM. He was killing counter attacks, anticipating passes, charging back and dispossessing attackers. And of course he played some cheeky passes and showed some beautiful skill on the ball. It was wondferful to see..

    Miguel was also solid.

Simao just scored a curler in the Madrid derby to tie the game 1 - 1 with 1 minute left in regular time. Wonderful game as well.

Simao was getting stuck in too, including having a yelling match with Pepe a few instances before the freekick.

Also watched both the Barça v Athletic and the Valencia v Numancia games. The Barça game was real good I love to see how those Basques really stick it to the big teams, they have a lot of fire.
The other match, watch out Maniche and Boswinga, Miguel and Manny are on fine form.

Manuel Fernandes is killing it right now. Outside of the God who is David Villa, Manny was their best player.
