Maniche scored his first two goals of the season for Atletico Madrid today. The first was a nicely taken kick, the second was a nice header.

Fernando Couto (Parma) played the 90 minutes in the 3-0 loss to Livorno (Vidigal's team). FCouto got a yellow card (what else is new?? ) in the 64th minute. Vidigal did not play: http://www.ojogo.pt/22-272/artigo593090.htm

Sergio Conceicao got hurt once again this weekend in the 22nd minute of the game and can be out up to 15 days. Interesting statistic: his team (Standard Liege) was only able to get 2 pts out of the possible 15 pts in games in which he does not play: http://www.ojogo.pt/22-273/artigo593328.htm

Hugo Almeida started in Werder's home match against Arminia Bielefeld and assisted both the 1:0 and 2:0, scored by Miroslav Klose. He was later replaced by Aaron Hunt, who scored the 3:0 in the 75th minute.

Beautiful shot and hesitation move by Saha though. If Andrade was behind Carvalho, Carvalho would have came in with the flying karate tackle!

He was insane. He assisted on Fulham's goal, and the sequence he created leading up to it was remarkable!
