    Hi

I have dish network and a french channel already so i have the equipment required. The RTPI site shows that they will broadcast 7 or 8 games in the first round.
Do you guys have any confirmation of this?

    Thanks

    Oporto, Portugal
In Portugal games will be broadcasted by 3 channels
    31 games
    11 - RTP
    10 - SIC
    10 - TVI

RTP has the best games like the final, the semis, the opening game... But I don't know if RTP international will show them.. Probablly not cause every country has it's own rights..

correct, tve international, rtp international, rai international and tv5
are not allowed to show euro 2004 matches in the united states

setanta owns rights for all languages in the united states
and if rtp decides to show a match, setanta will sue them

    Hi

What about showing the games on tape delay? Do they still have to ask Setanta to show games let's say 1 week later?

This has happened before. RTPi started to show games from Euro 1996 and after a few games, went off the air in the middle of another one. ESPN had the rights then and DID NOT SHOW ALL THE GAMES. So, they did not show and would not let anybody else. That is also when ESPN showed the first half of a game and then went straight to the overtime (the game ended 0x0). They never showed the second half.
"Hey, nobody scored, so, who would want to watch it, anyway"
