I've just read that only two Portuguese league titles have ever been won by a team outside of Benfica, Porto and Sporting. That's something they don't do better.

If the Portuguese did it better, why haven't they won a World Cup?

In my own opinion the Portuguese and Dutch coaches are the best in the world. I dont just mean at top manager level either i mean youth coaches, first team coaches etc. I mean in comparison to other coaches they are miles ahead. I envy other countries so much.

I also feel that the worst coaches in the world by a mile are the English ones. Beeing from England and beeing a very loyal England fan it hurst me to say but our coaches are terrible. Nowhere near enough time spent with the football and too much time spent on tactics and keeping to your role. I envy other countries so much.

    The best???

    give me a break...

it took like almost half century for Portugal to make it to the WC, if wasn't for a BRASILIAN, that would never happened.

get real, your "the best" couldn't have done that.

This took a lot of guts and swallowed pride to post. When was the last time an English manager won the Premeir League if any ? The year Blackburn won it

Yeah, they needed an Italo-Brazilian to get them to fourth place last year.

BTW, Portugal needs some out-and-out strikers quickly!

No English manager was won the EPL title. Kenny Dalglish was the manager of Blackburn when they won. If we take the English First Division into consideration, Howard Wilkinson was the last English manager, managing Leeds United to the 1991-92 title.

    Nope,

You lost because you guys are chokers from a 3rd tier never won anything futebol nation, you don't have what it takes to win a WC, never had and never will, not even with all Brasilian coaches or more brasilian players on your team, you don't have estrela like we say in Brasil.

Interesting... We got further than you did this last world cup, and our nation is 1/15th the population of yours. And how has Brazil done against Portugal in the last 6 years? How many times have you won, or even tied us? Thats right...we don't have the history and its all about size. We have done a lot better than brazil taking that into consideration.

Always the same cry of population... that has nothing to do with it, look at Uruguay that won 2 WC and they might be smaller than you are or they sure were when they won. Also.. talking about the last few years? ahahahg was that when you start watching the game? Pal you cant never compare yourself to us, my jersey has FIVE STARS and yours does not have a single one as a matter of fact I saw my country taking 2 wc with my own eyes and Im sure Ill see again at least another few times in my lifetime. You? The grandkids of your grandkids will be gone out of this earth before portugal wins a eurocup if anything.

    Resuma-te a tua insignificancia.

    BRASIL RULES

Okay... do me a favor, and form a selecao from just players from Sao Paulo (the entire city has more people than all of Portugal), and lets see what kind of Selecao brazil can create. Brazil would have trouble qualifying in CONMEBOL if they only had the population of Portugal.

And you bring up the point of Uruguay...who won the cup when there were only 16 nations in the World Cup. Why were there only 16 nations in the world cup? Because there were only about 30 nations that even knew what the sport was! Great comparison retard.
