Actually wouldn't be surprised if Flamengo built a statue for JJ. Probably the single greatest season a club has ever had in that league
Jorge Jesus, Conceicao, Amorim, are all good coaches. If Amorim starts getting results in Europe, look out.
Jorge mendes is the reason why our coaches and players get deals elsewhere. many of them are overrated. Especially ones from benfica
Speaking of former Benfica coaches, Rui Vitoria spent time working in the Middle East after. He got hired to take over Spartak Moscow, last season's runner ups in the Russian League but have started this season in 8th place so far

You know a coach sucks when even the influence of being Jorge Mendes' BFF isn't enough to save your sorry candy ass
NES has always been trash. I knew he was a fraud when he threw away a spoon fed title for Porto a few years back.
Our coaches mostly Suck now, if it wasn’t for Jorge mendes they would be screwed. most of them Are stuck in 2003 and play some defensive wannabe Mourinho garbage. They do not use modern tactics such as 3 at the back systems with a high press.
The funniest is probably Ricardo Sa Pinto and how he still keeps getting hired by random places. He's moved around and has coached clubs in Serbia, Greece, Belgium, Poland, Brazil and Turkey
They will then be seen at the local nova era or caldense bakery. Maybe they will attend the annual Portugal day parade ?
Sa Pinto would be that annoying uncle you have who works as a real estate agent and brags nonstop about how his kids are working at the bank or the TCDSB. The late Vitor Oliveira (RIP legend) would be the sports bar and billiards place owner who'd have a million stories to tell you about his life back in the day
lmao, I’m dying here. yeah a lot of chops working at the banks! The real estate guys are always making deals at lunch at Martins, kapital, or some other spot.
Yep, pretty much any local bank branch along Dundas, College, Bloor, St. Clair, maybe up to Eglinton has Portuguese representation now, and generally an asset if you can speak the language. For a teaching job at the school board, I still blame the Italians for messing up the system but you basically need to know somebody already working at a school for a chance to get hired. That's why a lot of younger teachers have to move out in the suburbs or even further away for any entry level chances. Porkchops have gotten pretty strong in the Toronto real estate game. Nelson Campos and Cintia De Aguiar are probably two of the biggest players on the market. Always see their name everywhere around here in the West End lol
Yeah I live In the west end. There are lots of other Portuguese Canadian sales agents that I know of as well.
