LA Galaxy in the MLS cup.

Western div. champions. Tonight beat the Colorado Rapids.
Final score in Denver 0-2 . L. Donovan scored both goals.

Colorado put up a good fight, but the best team on the field deserved the victory.

The Revs are in too. They'll meet LA Galaxy at the MLS cup final.

    New England 1-0 Chicago Fire.

Dempsey scored the lone goal at minute 4, using an unusual body part to make contact with ball helping it over the line.

I hope you're not letting the fact that the Revs knocked out the Mutts affect your judgement. Clearly you didn't see the replays where Segares was offside when the ball was played into the area. And as soon as he caught up with it he nailed it home for the goal. He came from an offside position though as the linesman already had the flag up as soon as he, the offside player, became involved in the play. Even the announcers seemed to agree with Stone saying something like, "You know it's a tough job but sometimes the linesman don't get enough credit when they make the right tough call."

Don't forget his celebration after the goal. He showed all the kids that it's important to stop, drop, and roll when putting out the Chicago Fire. Clint Dempsey is the T O of MLS celebrations except for the part about being an arrogant dumbass like Owens.

I don't know why Quaranta is being called up, he hasn't played well for the NT. Give someone else a try.

MLS attendances close to 3 million tickets sold for 2005
with a average of 15,108 , not a bad year under any circunstances

    http://kenn.com/soccer/mls/basic.html

2006 you should see the 3 million mark, at this time it looks like Kansas City and San Jose are not selling any tickets for next season, it looks like will be some moving around

Actually it is just about a done deal. All that is left is to sign the papers. Hear is a link about the new Toronto stadium deal that was needed to seal the deal. October 31 was the deadline. Looks like we are in :) :) I dont like the sight of the stadium, but at least we have it now :)

    Matt from D.C.
What demographic do you feel the league should try to be more proactive in recruiting as fans?
    Don Garber
We get asked this question a lot. We're very focused on three specific audiences: the youth soccer audience, the Hispanic audience and the international soccer fan. Each have their own unique challenges and opportunities and require specific programs to acheive the connect that we believe is important to the future of the league. You know, it's not about either/or for us ... it's very much about all three.

they never mention going after the portuguese and brazilian soccer fan or others, 4 markets with portuguese, N England, San Jose, New Jersey and soon Toronto, and then they wonder why the portuguese and brazilians don't support the team,

    we are not fvck spanish

Now that Toronto has pretty much guaranteed itself an MLS franchise, I expect a lot more Canadians will be following MLS. Is there anyone in here who would be getting seasons tickets, or are you resigned to the fact that club soccer here in Toronto just won't work? Thoughts?

Just watched the VHS tape of the MLS cup game, and I hate to admit it , but LA is a deserving winner. In fact, the Revs were lucky not to get scored on more. In truth ,even the disallowed goal seem perfectely legal to me.
From the initial wistle, LA seemed to want the win more than the Revs.
Second time around wasn't the charm NE expected. Maybe next year. . .
