It is half time and still 0x0. Portugal needs to win by 3x0 to have some advantage against Germany in the last group game.

Portugal had more scoring chances but the game is even.

    Final: 2x2
    Sw 1x0
    Carlos Martins (PK) 1x1
    H. Almeida 1x2
Sw 2x2 toward the end, Portugal playing with 10 (R Costa saw red).

    Things are complicated now.

Portugal was a favorite at the begin of the tournament, the call ups for the AA team and injuries didn't help the cause,
what happens if Portugal wins the game against Germany?

    Results:
    D 2x1 CH
    S 3x1 P
    D 1x2 S
    P 1x1 CH
So, S is in with 2 wins and 6 points
    D has 4 points
CH and P have 1 point each, but the Swiss are ahead of Portugal on goals (-3 vs -4).
So if P wins and CH loses: As Esperanças advance to 2nd Round. If CH wins also, it willbe decided on goal average.

You guys were quite lucky that the Ref denied us a penalty just before he gave you yours. A 2-0 lead probably would have won us the game...

Good luck against Germany (for very selfish reasons ;) ) !
