I have long been thinking that there are too many South American and mexican players in the Portuguese league. That's all Benfica has been signing so far for this upcoming season.
They are money ball teams. They don’t care about winning the champions league or Portugal winning a tittle. They just want to purchase promising talent from South America for a bargain, and then they sell them to bigger clubs for more than they are worth. They just want to make money. It’s more of a business than anything else.
Facts. You’re a scumbag but @Sumol you are absolutely clueless if you think we’re a better team without CR7. Take off the jersey, vai fazer a comida while the real men watch the games.
Sucks not having anything to watch. At least there's the club season. I keep trying to find a club to follow but it never works. Except for RM with Coentrao, Pepe, and Ronaldo, but that hasn't been for a while. Maybe I'll catch some Wolves games.
I liked you better a few pages ago when you said you were done supporting Portugal and you said good bye. What happened to that?
So im 2020 im liking this potential lineup, just need to find a partner for Dias in the future. And possible Jota for Martins. Cancelo Dias blank Raphael William Neves Bernardo Martins Ronaldo Guedes
You guys still have a lot of good young talent and you will be a threat for years to come. I am just sad my Milan boy didn't produce. Andre Silva has a lot of talent but he seems to shy off the ball a lot. I hope he plays to his potential some day.
Nah we don't. All we have are bunch of spineless cowards who can't succeed at the highest level. Andre The Scrub Silva is a perfect example
One thing we damn well better hear soon is player retirement from national team. All other nations players retire, it seems line Portugal nobody retires, they just eventually stop getting called up. Alves, Fonte, Quaresma, hell maybe even moutinho. Need to retire and pave way for other guys to come through.
It's not. It's a Toronto thing apparently. Trust me I'm just as confused as all of the other non-canadian people on this form
Same thing in France. People overcompensate in football the exacerbated feeling of being an outsider abroad.
Rivalry competition. Italian and Portugese are way more similar in Toronto than we want to admit. We have our cultural differences but we can get along almost more than any other two groups here in my experience. Two of the more, if not the two most charismatic populations in Toronto. I grew up around St. Clair and Dufferin which is probably ground zero for Italian-Portuguese interaction.
When people start arguing about clubs or areas of the city they know, I am completely lost. I know what they're talking about (Toronto, the big three) but it seems really small minded. I guess this board only gets active for a few months a year so there's carryover.
My Older brother got in a fight with spainairds, sore losers! I'm still pissed. As for the future, why is everyone leaving out Bruma... He's awesome, with Guedes in his natural position, or We could find a gem with Jota, who I like upfront.
Hundo... In t.dot you gotta mark your territory. GTA, Vaughn, up north in the Barrie, the most diverse group is great, but not at the WC, I have seen fights over words.
I'm really surprised nobody retired yet. Pepe? Fonte? Please just bow out now. Time to get a new CB pair some chemistry.
