I think it's good match to see where we've gone since about 3 years ago, when we played them with Augustinho Oliveira as interim coach after the disappointing World Cup.

I think it may also be a decent reference point for us in tactically for when we play Iran.

yup...a stepping stone to playing iran or african football style with Angola...although I'm sure we'll be more aware of Angola beacuse most of their players are well known in the Superliga and lower divisoes.

Tunisia are no pushover...I hope we either play amazingly or I wouldn't mind a bad result in order to open up our eyes for World Cup so that we do not get too arrogant. Better a bad result now than in June...PONHE-TE FINO MOçOS...PONHE-TE FINO!

Meh, we got bad results before World Cup 2002 too. I remember us losing to Finland 4-1 I think it was?

Your right, I remember the horror. 4-1 man that is bad. seriously sometimes Portugal gets results that make you really wonder...
thankfully weve seemed to slow down a little bit when it comes to that...

or will Tunisia prove otherwise! I hope not, FORCA PORTUGAL

The only match ever went to see Portugal was exactly the one against Finland...they sucked so much that I had to bash them. Not proud of it...but I really had to.

    should be a good match.

hopefully Portugal wears the new jerseys because Im dieing to see how they look with red shorts and whatever zaney unwarranted new tricks nike wants to surprise us with.

But much more importantly, it will be a good test for us before WC 2006

It's good match because Tunisia are a team that took part in the Confed cup and has also qualified for the WC as well as about to take part in the ANC. It is the African team that will of had the most exposure to world football within the past year.

Now we need to line up a game vs Korea, a game with the Greeks (win = super Confidence) and a game with Columbia or Uruguay (since they got nothing to do) to build confidence and understanding of what they could be up against at the WC.
