    Portugal entra com vitória

    Tal como se esperava, Portugal não sentiu grandes dificuldades para bater (5-1) a selecção angolana, ontem, no jogo inaugural da 37.ª edição do campeonato do Mundo de hóquei em patins.

    A formação nacional entrou em rinque com um estilo de jogo muito coeso e, dadas as dificuldades sentidas pelos jogadores angolanos para travar os seus homólogos portugueses, foi com naturalidade que Reinaldo Ventura inaugurou o marcador através de uma grande penalidade.

    A partir daí, bastou aos pupilos de José Querido manter a bitola exibicional para chegar ao “descanso” limitando-se a gerir a vantagem que, entretanto, era já de três golos.

    Gerir o esforço

    A notória superioridade da equipa portuguesa possibilitou ao seleccionador utilizar a segunda parte do desafio para rodar os jogadores de modo a não sobrecarregá-los, certamente a pensar já no desgaste dos próximos jogos (segunda-feira, a Selecção Nacional defronta o Chile).

    Por Portugal, alinharam e marcaram: Guilherme Silva (gr), Sérgio Silva, Valter Neves, Reinaldo Ventura (1), Tó Silva (1), Ricardo Pereira (1), Ricardo Barreiros (1), Ricardo Figueira (1) e Pedro Afonso.

    Hoje disputam-se os seguintes jogos: Suíça-Moçambique, Holanda-Inglaterra, Chile-Macau, Andorra-Itália, França-Espanha, Alemanha-EUA e Brasil- Argentina.
