https://www.cbssports.com/soccer/ne...eal-madrid-vs-liverpool-bayern-munich-vs-psg/ Champions League round of 16 matchups Manchester City vs. RB Leipzig Benfica vs. Club Brugge Real Madrid vs. Liverpool Tottenham Hotspur vs. AC Milan Napoli vs. Frankfurt Chelsea vs. Borussia Dortmund Porto vs. Inter Milan Bayern Munich vs. PSG
Yeah weird outcomes on the last day. Sporting was a real disappointment, only getting one point from their last four group games after a full six after two. But they survived into the EL thanks to a miracle last minute goal by Tottenham, and they likely stand a better chance of success there v Midytlland. As for Braga, they might do better in the ECL than the EL bc they wont' have to beat a 3d place champions league team just to get to the R16. I don't know much about Fiorentina; they have some good history but not sure about the present. Given how well both Benfica and Porto played in the group stages I like their chances in both R16 matchups. We'll have to see. Til 2023, y'all.
I keep telling US fans that they are fools to underrate Iran, and I've sent many friends clips of Taremi scoring bagfuls of goals in the CL to underscore the point. He's a terrifying prospect for any defense.
