    Hi!

Is there anyone here that follows Gondomar SC?
They have a Chilean striker--Nicolas Canales--on loan from Benfica, and I was reading in the Chilean press he has 5 goals to his name this season. I was hoping he would be called up for our friendly vs. CR at the end of the month.

Anyway, any info on him would be highly appreciated!:)

    Regards,
    Metro

sorry but I have to say this, and no smack talk intended: You guys are in trouble when you need to count on a player from a Portuguese Second Division team to take part in your NT offense... :D

Actually, we don't need to count on him. We have Suazo right now who is probably one of the best strikers in SA. I was just wondering, because at the worst case possible, Canales could be a viable option. That does not mean we need him.

So, has anyone seen him play?

Just for curiosity, why would you need to know so much about the Portuguese second division unless your a scout. But just beacuse your asking, go to the team's sites or wiki it and they have info for you usually.
    Try Varzim for example: www.varzim.pt
