Change F.Couto for J.Costa, J.Pinto for Oceano (Paulinho Santos can break some legs to keep it tight at the back by himself) and play a more offensive formation.

Not sure if Dani is really a darkside character. Nani is probably much more disliked overall. Figo is hated only by Barcelona fans, no?

The J.P vs P.S fights were epic.

Pepe is making a strong challenge to be included in our darkside 11. We're going to be so hated in the Euros. :D

Damn it, you beat me to it!!

What are they feeding him in Spain? I don't remember him ever behaving like this while playing for the NT and at Porto...

When even Mourinho starts saying he should be punished you know he's in trouble...

And Carvalho's tackle from behind was VICIOUS too lol. He made no attempt for the ball, just kicked him from behind haha. Couldn't believe it wasn't a straight red.

Lol. Even if Portugal hasn't won any major title at senior level
There is a weird sense of satisfaction I get from supporting this team
    In international competition

Rooting for Portugal in international competition
Is like rooting for the joker in Batman, darth Vadar in star wars
    Or the like...

In sum: Bein the villain of every tournament is great
And hopefully captain douchebag cr7 can lead us to more trolling wins next summer

I have been patiently waiting for Pepe or Bruno Alves to snap and drop kick someone for Portugal.

The picture of Couto, Xavier, Capucho and Figo had to be from right before the 2002 World Cup right?

I'm guessing this was before they got their ass handed to them before USA and Korea games.

    No kidding!
That pictures encapsulates everything that's wrong with Portugal and Portuguese society.

Capucho should have received a beating for wearing that knitted tank top.

The sad thing is this is basically what happened according to sources ..

    Portugal only
Arrived in Korea to play their USA opener game a couple days before kickoff!

Macau was a completely different climate with very hot and humid conditions
And the players weren't able to train properly

This showed by how lackadaisical the Portuguese team was
    Against the americans.
Portugals played were very poorly physically prepared ,
And the Americans were much fitter physically and that was the deciding factor . The first half was American domination with Portugal looking so sluggish.

Portugal woke up towards the end of the game, thrashed Poland and
Against Korea they battled but were hard done by the refs

The horrible "preparation" was their true downfall of one very talented Portugal team.

Pepe may not be the most talented, but he is a major d-bag. Should definitely be on the reserves, if not pushing for a starting spot in lineup.

You know I don't Ronaldo is that big of a d-bag. He's whiny and goes down a bit too easily, but he's not unlikable. I think the Spanish team is worse. Xavi's dumb@ss has a face that you just want punch over and over.

Glad Pepe made it but you may add Bento's incompetence to this list. He was terrible.
