Vela being loaned out would be great for his career. As it stands now, Eduardo is healthy (to his standards) and we can afford to allow him to get some first team experience somewhere else.

    3-0 Arsenal this weekend.

I'd like to see us rest as many players as possible for this one. Eduardo, Eboue, and perhaps even Wilshere or Ramsey should start. We have a pretty heavy schedule after this game with Celtic, Manutd, Man City, and then a potential CL group stage game taking us through to the middle of September.

Great point. I would like to see Keiran Gibbs even get a run out. I rate the kid...despite the CL debacle.

I disagree about us resting as many people as possible. I think we need to pick up as many points as possible in the league, and I would hate for us to this game too lightly. A little rotation would be nice, but I think we can affod to rest a few players in the Celtic game as well, so we still should try to put out a strong side. I would start like this:

    Arshavin- Eduardo- Bendtner
    Diaby-Song-Denilson
    Clichy-Vermaelen-Gallas-Eboue
    Almunia

Not even really a debacle was it. Kid slipped. Shit happens.

i agree that there should be a little bit of player rotation, but i think cesc needs to be in any lineup we put out

As a Celtic Supporter, let me congratulate yoy on a well deserved victory. Personally I think this talk of you dropping out of the top 4 is nonsense and the Man City situation is the worst thing to happen to us as your players are out to prove a point. Good luck to you in the rest of the competition. Like watching your football, except against us ha ha.

    Good luck this season

We shouldn't send out anyone on loan, our squad is already thin as it is.

This is a home game correct? Got a bit confused, I always put the home team before the away team in the title.

Not sure about Cesc, but I'm pretty sure the back and midfield will be exactly the same.

    Is Eduardo fit again?

The top 3 should remain the same. This would be an ideal game to get off the mark and play around a bit. Also build up more of an understanding with Sagna and Clichy in the wide spots.

Cesc should start, the back 4 and keeper should remain the same. Its really only the other 2 midfield places that id rotate.

I dont want to start taking any team for granted after 2 games.

The team should stay the same. It's a new formation and as well as it's gone so far a few games in a row will help it bed in even better. When we're four up at half time Wenger can make some changes :D

hopefully Walcott is fit and ready to go in this one, whether of the bench or in the starting XI

And Portsmouth's latest result just confirms in me that it's gonna be a slaughter on Saturday.

Burnley did us a nice favor by holding Utd 1-0. Lets not mess around -- get the three points in hand then make subs.

I saw this article but there is nothing about this on the Arsenal page injury reports. The photos show him training with the club.

I don't want to see him loaned away, but I would like to see him get more playing time.

Well I don't want the exact same lineup but I don't want too many changes either.

I would like to see Ramsey come in for one of our midfielders. Eduardo come in up top. Wilshire on the bench ready to come in if we get a nice lead.

So Walcott is out for this match for sure? If so I hate to say it but we may have to put Eboue in Bendtner's rolle and Diaby for a midfielder. Also, Eduardo in for RVP/Arshavin. We need some rest for the ManU game.
