Our season officially starts today with the supercup game vs. Academica! Here's to capturing our first of many trophies this year. Game time is 30 mins away I expect the line up to be: Helton, Lopes, Maicon, Otamendi, Mangala, Fernando, Defour, Lucho, Atsu, James & Martinez, but will see in a few minutes here! I'll post official lineup.
Great cross from Miguel Lopes to Martinez for the winner. I wasn't that impressed with what I saw but it's only the first competitive game of the season, also disappointed that Iturbe is still behind Djalma in the depth chart it seemed but I do like the possibility of a back 4 with Lopes - Maicon - Mangala - Sandro, Otamendi is meh.
Nice to get the win and see Jackson score the winner! Hopefully it's the first of many trophies this year. I seriously say Maicon is the best defender on our roster. Lopes will be good too! Sandro needs to be the starting LB; Otamendi/Rolando/Mangala/ are a lot of CB's to carry. Danilo must be played in MF if Lopes is our starting RB
