Game wrap here. I wasn't able to get to the game, but I heard a few people say it was an ugly affair. I think this might put the nail in UP's coffin this year.
UP vs SCU the game was played very defensively though I thought Santa Clara dominated in every position. If points were to be had for ripping players jerseys, Portland certainly would have won. Once again coach Rast did questionable subbing up front. He took out his entire starting forward line within the first 25 minutes of play and left them out until middle of the second half. The results -no shots on goal until somewhere in the second half.
