The 107 Report featuring Chris Agnello with Timbers Army is now published and available. http://the107report.libsyn.com/ It's a big download, but worth it
Re: Portland Timbers Army Q&A very cool I've only gotten about 15 minutes into the Angello interview but its very informative on where the Timbers are right now and what to expect for the upcoming season. I look forward to future 107reports.
Re: Portland Timbers Army Q&A Here is a video to check out.... good stuff!! http://www.soccercityusa.com/timbers/2005timbers.wmv http://www.soccercityusa.com/cgi-bin/yabb/YaBB.pl?num=1140600445/0#0
Re: Portland Timbers Army Q&A Timber's Army should post more videos of the supporters throughout the year.
Re: Portland Timbers Army Q&A On the most recent 107reports there is an excellent interview with former Timbers GM Jim Taylor on the most recent 107reports, which covers pretty much everything from the very beginning of the club to the very end of his tenure with the club.
Re: Portland Timbers Army Q&A Today's edition is a roundtable discussion about the team's training camp. Great stuff other even though it includes some dude named Roberto. http://www.the107report.libsyn.com/index.php?post_id=75791
Re: Portland Timbers Army Q&A I agree, there should be that much crowd support around the league. I as a FC Dallas supporter am jealous! I would love to see more!
Re: Portland Timbers Army Q&A Coolest supporter's club of any pro-sport or semi-pro sport in the country. I wish the Sounders had that.
Re: Portland Timbers Army Q&A true, it's better to actually do something about it, than to just sit back and wish for something.
Re: Portland Timbers Army Q&A Guess what. We've been starting that for a while now. Wish you'd join in. I'm sure you'd help make Seattle cooler. http://soundercentral.com/modules.php?name=Content&pa=showpage&pid=8
Re: Portland Timbers Army Q&A Is Timbers Army the largest supporter group in the country? I've always wondered how many were in it because it isn't often that I get to see a game in Portland, and when I due the production quality is very poor.
Re: Portland Timbers Army Q&A I know it's big, but not sure how it compares to DC or Chicago. If you go to http://www.soccercityusa.com/timbers or http://www.timbersfanpage.com and see past matches with photos of the woodshed.
Re: Portland Timbers Army Q&A Awsome video. Timbers' Army still has it going on. My family (and I ) will be in Portland this weekend, visiting the grandparents. I see that there are not one, but two games to take in, and I would like to go to one if not both, especially as I will miss the Houston Dynamo x F*C* Dallas match here in H-Town. I had a great time the last time I sat with you guys (2-3 years ago?), and I was wondering if you would mind another interloping go-round with myself and some of my other siblings? Do you still meet at the same pub (which, for the life of me, I can't remember the name! ) Looking forward to meeting with y'all again!
Re: Portland Timbers Army Q&A We've grown enough for two pubs pre-match!!!! The Bitter End Pub and the Bull Pen are the two pubs. Go to talktimbers.com and introduce yourself and everyone should make you feel welcome!!! Post match is the Bull Pen. There may be a pre-match BBQ/tailgate on Saturday. --CHEERS
Re: Portland Timbers Army Q&A Hey I hope you have a good time in the Rose City, oh yeah...come and find me before the game in the Bullpen, I will be wearing a Green shirt with "COLLEGE", written on it in white lettering, and I have short blonde hair, and about 6'2, I'll buy you a beer.
Re: Portland Timbers Army Q&A Allrighty, then, I'll be lookin'. I, too, have short blonde hair, and am also 6'2", so I'll just look for the guy who looks like me. Assuming you're a guy... Anyway, I'll have on my Corinthians ball cap, and I'll probably be wearing something a little scandalous for a Timbers' Army gathering (probably orange, but who knows? ), so if I don't see you, it shouldn't be too hard to spot me.
Re: Portland Timbers Army Q&A No. The first (and only) was several years back. I remember specifically that I was still a Burn fan... Oh, wait, it was an election year - they aired the game on network TV, and they got us all in Section 107 to yell something like, "Go Vote!", as part of a voter's awareness advertisement.
