I've only gotten about 15 minutes into the Angello interview but its very informative on where the Timbers are right now and what to expect for the upcoming season.

On the most recent 107reports there is an excellent interview with former Timbers GM Jim Taylor on the most recent 107reports, which covers pretty much everything from the very beginning of the club to the very end of his tenure with the club.

I agree, there should be that much crowd support around the league. I as a FC Dallas supporter am jealous! I would love to see more!

Coolest supporter's club of any pro-sport or semi-pro sport in the country. I wish the Sounders had that.

Is Timbers Army the largest supporter group in the country? I've always wondered how many were in it because it isn't often that I get to see a game in Portland, and when I due the production quality is very poor.

My family (and I ) will be in Portland this weekend, visiting the grandparents. I see that there are not one, but two games to take in, and I would like to go to one if not both, especially as I will miss the Houston Dynamo x F*C* Dallas match here in H-Town. I had a great time the last time I sat with you guys (2-3 years ago?), and I was wondering if you would mind another interloping go-round with myself and some of my other siblings? Do you still meet at the same pub (which, for the life of me, I can't remember the name! )

Allrighty, then, I'll be lookin'. I, too, have short blonde hair, and am also 6'2", so I'll just look for the guy who looks like me.

Assuming you're a guy...

Anyway, I'll have on my Corinthians ball cap, and I'll probably be wearing something a little scandalous for a Timbers' Army gathering (probably orange, but who knows? ), so if I don't see you, it shouldn't be too hard to spot me.

No. The first (and only) was several years back. I remember specifically that I was still a Burn fan... Oh, wait, it was an election year - they aired the game on network TV, and they got us all in Section 107 to yell something like, "Go Vote!", as part of a voter's awareness advertisement.
