As a Polish supporter I'm very nervous about this game. And I think it will be the toughest match for us (we struggled with Ireland and Scotland in the qualifiers, 3 draws 1 win). The Romanian referee for this match has the highest yellow card % of all the Euro 2016 referees so we could maybe see some sending offs as well.
Last time Northern Ireland played a major tournament: 1986 world cup
Last time Poland made it out of the group at a major tournament: 1986 world cup ;)

    No worries..we got this

    2-0 to Bialo-Czerwoni
it won't be a walk in the park but 'no worries'
too much quality for Poland...have a legitimate superstar (first one since Boniek) with a decent supporting cast (Fabs, Glik, Piszczek, Krycha, Milik, Grosicki, Kuba) and some talented youngsters in Zielinski and Kapustka...

Poland is making at least to qtrs....

Poland is one of my surprise picks this tournament so I expect a convincing win tomorrow. So strong up the spine of the team with Glik, Krychowiak and Lewandowski. Milik might be one of the breakout young stars of the tournament. And as defenses try to shut down those players, someone like Grosicki who is overlooked could take advantage and actually be the big difference maker.

Grosicki is not expected to start....fighting to stay fit but he will be sorely needed in future games
Pazdan in the middle and the left flank are a concern - but will see

also curious to see how Zielinski plays and more importantly Kapustka - teenager from Cracovia who has pretty lofty expectations..
this tourney seems like it could be won by a dark horse (maybe croatia)....Aside from Germany - no real clear favorites and more teams will be advancing to KO stage where anything can happen

    cheers

should be another interesting game.... really enjoying watching some of these lesser fancied teams go at it, like yesterday's Wales vs Slovakia match. Will also be great seeing another team makes its debut.

If N. I don't tie this game and lose, they will be hoping that Germany goes full blitzkrieg on Ukraine today in goals!!
