With Jacek Bak, Radoslaw Kaluzny and Emmanuel Olisadebe out, someone will have to step up or we will draw or even lose at home. Personally i think this is must win. Boniek needs to prove San Marino match was not how his team plays and Wichniarek and Zurawski must start scoring in matches that matter. Also Glowacki won't be playing tomorrow either. Its not looking good, we will need goals to win, becasue our backline is weak with our top 2 defenders out.

But i will still stay positive...

    Latvia 0
    Polska 2 (Wichniarek and Kosowski)

Yes, I really think Kosowski will score.

    FINAL!!!!

If we win, we will be all by our selfs in 1st place with Sweden 4 points behind us.

Boniek better not disappoint. This kind of oppertunity comes once every 100 years, this is must win.

Wichirnarek doesn't score then i hope he never returns to the national team again. Hes a complete joke. Awsome with club, suck with country. No excuse.

    It's over. We lose.

I dont know how to say this kindly, but we are in trouple. We stuggled in San Marino and scored 2 late goals playing with 3 strikers.

Get rid of Wichinarek and Zurawski. They are worthless. Bring in Niedzelan from Gornik, Kuzba from Wisla and Olisadebe. Hope for Karwan and Smolarek to gain fitness soon. If not, say good bye to EuroCup.

Boniek has alot of questions to anwser, now we will see if hes truly a good manager or just a joke.

I wish we still had Engel. What a mistake that was, he was 2nd best manager in Poland's history. As it looks, Boniek will be one of the worst's if this continues.

    Jesus. What an embarassment.
We barely have a chance in EURO 2004.
    This completely ruins my day.

About Boniek, though, I still think we should give him some time. Remember when Engel began? He did not start off with success either.
I'm more dissapointed with the players.

I don't know if you remember, but before the WC Jan Tomaszewski (and others) were saying that Poland is an ok team with Oli and a lousy one with out him.
Don't mean to say that Olisadebe is a star, just that without him on the field we can't seem to score and don't have much imagination up front.

Still a long way to go in the qualifiers, hopefully Latvia's good streak will end and Poland will get its act together by next spring's games.

Its not only Olisadebe. It would have been better if Karwan had not gotten hurt and Kaluzny. They are our two best midfielders. With them gone, our scoring from midfield is dead, and that gives defenders to pressure Kosowski really badly to the limit his passing game.

Also, with Bak and Glowacki not there, we could not pressure as much as we wanted becasuse we feared a counter attack.

I personally never thought highly of Boniek so thats prolly why i am blaming him now lol. But seriously, I think hes doing good so far with the team and playing the right players, however the results are not coming our way, and thats the bottom line. 2-0 vs San Marino? 0-1 vs Latvia?

Also, who would have thought Wichniarek and Zurawski would choke on the big stage? They both play great with club and Zurawski kills bad teams, but when we play big games, both are nowhere to be found. Boniek needs to make a change fast. I dont know what, my idea is to start either Kuzba or Niedzielan with Olisadebe. Forget Artur or Zura until they get their heads out of their a$$'s.

Anybody know how long Smolarek is away from fitness? I know Boniek is high on him, when ever he gets healthy i'm sure hes a lock on the national team.
