Late equaliser from Norris gives Argyle a 1-1 draw at Colchester, we drop down to 10th.

Akos scores for QPR, who also now have signed Sinclair from Chelsea on loan.

argh... Sinclair.... well, QPR is a lot closer to chelsea than Plymouth... well, we got our ManU loanee as well...

goal at the 88th is better than a loss.... but we are falling farther back out of playoff picture... its a long season, but its hard to dig back out of a mid table hole...

Big win today against bottom club Norwich 3-0, goals by Martin, Connolly ( his first ever for Argyle, in over a 100 games) and Norris, also had a goal dissallowed by Timar and probably should have scored easily another couple.
    Up to 7th.
Downside Timar got booked for the 5th time so will be suspended for next game, which wont be for 2 weeks.

"bottling incident"? does that mean SEB crashed someone in the head with a bottle? Geez.... what is he thinking?!?!? doorman probably wouldnt let him in... or was kicking him out... but no excuse for that... the guy is the star of the team... throwing that all away potentially!!!

I just read that on SKY... so much for Ollie loving the english coastal city.... argh... this just burns me up.... he had something good going here, and now jumps to a "bigger" club... and all the pressure that comes with it... Hey Ollie, who wanted you when QPR sacked you? who gave you a chance to manage again?

    7-7-7

maybe i should go to vegas....

Holloway leaves a Plymouth team currently in 7th place

Plymouth is currently 7 points ahead of Leicester City

Leicester city is currently 17th in the table....

oy veh!!!! Ollie said he had no choice.... seems mandaric is going to open the purse strings.... do we need to worry about any of our players heading to his new team?

Looking at the Leicester team list they have 34 players in their first team squad.
6 of those are out on loan, and 2 of those are on loan to Leicester.
Leicester is a big club compared to Argyle they get almost double the crowds as Argyle, and they have an owner who is willing to spend lots of money, all things Argyle dont have.
I expect there are a few players Ollie might want to go, whether they want to go, we'll see.

Argyle have 5 games coming up in the next 15 days so this came at a very bad time, it usually takes at least 2 weeks to get a new manager in, unless they promote from within, but all of the backroom guys all came with Ollie, so it is expected they will go to Leicester as well, but none have yet.
There is a directors meeting friday so hopefully we will hear some more then.

It looks as if Paul Sturrock could be back with us very very soon..Love to see Luggy here again,,He would again bring back the "feel good factor".

if Paul Sturrock comes back that would be FANTASTIC!!!!!

Phil, where has he been managing? League 1 hasnt he? he would pick right up where he left off.... a lot of his old players are still on the team arnt they?

does he have the connections that Ollie did to get good loan signings?

Great win today Sheffield U. 0 ARGYLE 1 Halmosi, Argyle move up to 4th.

Stuttard is the manager of Swindon, he is very loyal to certain players who follow him around and his backroom staff. I think he would be a good signing but not yet, Argyle have 5 games in 15 days and to bring in a new manager might be disruptive, giving the managership to the assistant manager Tim Breacker i think would be the best, of course Breacker might be on his way to Leicester along with the rest of Argyle's backroom staff as they all came with Ollie, on the other hand they may want to settle down themselves.

Any way after a miserable week this is a great way to finish off the week.
Next game wednesday against WBA at Home Park, expect a big crowd for that one.

My opinion is get Sturrock in as soon as possible..It would be a great lift for the club and we could capitalise on it..

Great win today, and on the road too.... 4th in the table.... highest ive ever seen us....

Interesting... if the remaining coaching staff stay on, could Tim Breacher step up and be manager? if they all start bailing to follow Ollie to LC, get Luggy in here ASAP... i bet he would be welcomed with open arms by the fans....

some rather biting commentary on Argyle World about Ollie in the most recent game report. Green Army was singing "theres only one greedy bastard"...

    kinda funny...

It is sad that we all believed him when he said how much he loved it here and the first time a club offered him more money and a better budget he goes..I still think he is a good guy..If a compay offered to pay me twice as much with better career prospects I would be gone in a flash.

Luggy not off to a good start 2-1 loss to WBA on wednesday. WBA are probably the best team in the championship.
Tomorrow Argyle play Scunthorpe, so hopefully they will get back on track with a win.

Luggy going 0-2 would not be a good start.... espicially with a loss to Scunthorpe who are several spots below us..

lets put the ball in the net tomorrow....
