Ian is a street walkin' cheetah with a heart full of napalm. Who don't think so? I will say this, Curtis did light the joint up. If he can continue at that level and put a few away in the bargain, well I'll have to rethink my position on him.
He's the runaway son of the nuclear A-bomb. Agreed on Curtis, too. If he can put them in the net, I'm ok with him.
This is the bugaboo with Curtis.. Which Ali is going to show up on Wednesday? It's anybodys guess really.. To be quite honest, I'd be shocked if he plays half as effective as he did last Saturday as that has been his M.O. from the git-go....
I said it before and I'll say it again, Ali is the spark we need right now. The man needs to be a starter. It's his turn to **** or get off the pot. I have faith in this guy that he will really show us something good.
Definitely not this season, but last season when he played as a starter, he was quite unimpressive.. Most if not all of his 5 goals came as a sub.. To be fair though, any player having to be supported by Villegas, Williams, Alavanja, Lassiter and Zambrano would be hard pressed to produce results.... I just don't think we should get all worked up over one very good performance as his history has proven that.. Again, I hope I'm dead wrong....
Hudson - Thick as a brick I wanted Curtis to play up front and Convey in the middle for some time now. It was nice to see that when this happened we got the win. I know from watching Curtis he isn't the best forward in the league be he hustles and busts his butt every time he is out there. Guys like him can stretch a defense and that should be the window of opportunity guys like Convey and Dema can exploit. The Far Side
Hopefully, Ali will have a run of matches as a starter. It is long overdue and he deserves his chance. He was absolutely brilliant against Chicago. Long may it continue.... Cheers, GQ
