Just got done listening to the new System of a Down album, and I'm really craving some more rocking music.

Post some of your favorite fast, hard songs here for me to fetch. The world is running extremely low on good rocking music nowadays.

This is the thread for people who love fast guitars, drums, and screaming.

I'll throw out a couple to get us started:

Incubus - Deeper Shade of Green
    Pumpkins - Silverfuck
Pearl Jam - Spin the Black Circle
    SOAD - A.D.D.
    311 - What Was I Thinking?
    Offspring - Nitro
    Jimmy's Chicken Shack - High
At The Drive In - Pattern Against User

    Boom! Boom! Boom!

I've heard about this guy, Jim Hendricks or something? People say he's a pretty good guitar player.

"Fun House" by the Stooges. Iggy Pop lets out as least one crazy scream, usually at the start, off each song. This is a classic!!!

If you can find them, check out Zen Guerrilla, they're on Sub-Pop. Kick ass bluesy bar band, but nonetheless they're pretty good.

I'll have to check it out. However, before you diss 311's ROCK level, check out the song I posted.

Keep em coming guys! I'll start downloading them after work today.

Is that band HIM known at all in the States? If not, you guys gotta check ‘em out. I’m tellin’ ya. They’re from Finland and they’ve got kind of a goth vibe to them, but really they’re just a straight ahead hard rock band. They’re relatively successful in Europe. So if you’re sitting there in a downloading mood right now, do yourselves a favor and check out:

    Join Me
    Right Here in My Arms
    Keep On Pretending
    Poison Girl
    In Joy and Sorrow

I’m telling you, you’ll like these guys. Rockin’ catchy songs, all of them big hits in Europe. Also Stogey, if you like loud, hard, screamin’ music check out the Guano Apes from Germany with:

    Open Your Eyes
    Lords of the Boards

    Do it for Mattbro.

For fun, I'd thought I'd try and match your picks with songs of a similar 'vibe'. My opinion only, of course.

Lostprophets - "Shinobi vs. Dragon Ninja"
    Snapcase - "Exile Etiquette"
Rival Schools - "Used for Glue"
Boy Hits Car - "I am a Cloud"
    Downset - "Fallen Off"
    Thrice - "Deadbolt"
Pulse Ultra - "Build Your Cages"
    Sparta - "Cut your Ribbon"
