Tonights MLS broadcast had me up in arms.

Between the two chaps in the booth I don't know who made me more aggrevated.

FSWproducer - if I pay for a flight to LA, can I do a game? I promise I won't suck as much as they do.

    Please? Please?

I'm watching the game on a 20" inch tv and I know the difference between Albright and Victorine, but its so much more than that.

They just annoy me, I was looking for something to poke my eardrums with, but then I thought...MLS Wrap is coming up. I love this show, I want to hear their insightful comments, Joe Rogerino's wonderful commentary on the highlights, no, I won't pierce my eardrums.

    Have a nice day.

Could be worse, could be Rick Davis and Joe Tutino.

I'm not sure it could be worse. At one point Comedian Jon Stewart collected a ball and made a long pass.

I'm sure they are using a big screen tv and should have the players numbers memorized, but apparently they have no idea who is who.

Please....Please let me do one game. One game, that's all I ask.

I've done two pbp games on radio, and the response was very good. I have done color for one game as well. I can do this - the first game is free. If you like my work, then we can talk about a per game fee.

I'll fly out to LA - no worries. If you can set up a hotel that's great, if not - no worries, I'll take care of it.

If you hire me, you reimburse me for my expenses.

Lets do it. We can make this work.

I dont watch MLS ...but in this drought of football i did tune in to the MLS match... I heard Rick Davis.. I hate Bretos... but compared to Davis.. Bretos is commentary god... I remember him doing the world cup on ABC a few years back... and the guy could not stop talking about how he played with Pele and Beckenbaur in the NASL... he was so full of himself..the worst was when i heard him make a call of a penalty shot to the top corner of the net.. he stated... "thats what we call in the sport a roofer"..... pathetic...

the US needs some better commentators

You know, I found myself thinking, "Wow, these guys are a lot better than the Fox guys who do Quakes games (John Schrader & John Doyle)!" But compared to a national telecast team, they are somewhat lacking...

What's worse - Rick Davis as a player or an announcer?

Having only see him play one time, I'd rather see him on the field.

I'll second panic's nomination to get into the booth.

    Thank you for your support.

I'll do my best, and I'll do you proud.

I'm thinking of starting a thread the day of the game. Instead of the Ask Miles or the Booth, just post on the thread, and we'll take selective posts and read them on the air.

    Re: An impressive resume!!!!!

It might not be as much as some, but its the quality that counts.

    You could be my sidekick!

We could do this - and we won't suck as much as the guys they have on now.

You look too much like Clinton. I'd rather do Pbp, but I'm comfortable doing color.
