Hello I don't know if you are aware but York City are again in desperate trouble please show your support for our plight, we are being asset stripped by our former chairman Douglas Craig, I am sure you guys know all about dodgy chairmen like Koppel, Knighton and Craig already.

Please visit our Friends of Bootham Crescent website, a pressure group set up to make certain that we don't lose our ground. We also have an online petition at http://www.petitiononline.com/ycfcasfa/petition.html and we invite you to join with us and prove that Football is the fans game. If you sign the petition please put YOUR team's name in the comments box and anything else you want to say about this sad state. We want to show how fans can be truly united.

Details of situtaion are on the FoBC site, please visit http://www28.brinkster.com/fobc , send in a letter or email opposing planning permission (all details on the site). The fans united will never be defeated!

Thanks and good luck for the rest of the season.

    make the stands green...or camo

In my opinion, the army, which is a huge presence around York, should be compelled to attend York City games on some kind of shift/rotation basis. This could quite easily raise gates by 3000 for every home game. Not to mention being a valuable tonic for our brave men and women about to embark on a perilous mission in Iraq.

Dont know if you are activly involved in the club but if you are the best thing to do would be to promote the club at the local schools, then you could have a younger fan base that will be there in the future.
