Brownie points if they come from a 'respectable' team. Here's my list so far: GK: Alan Fettis (N. Ireland) LB: ??? CB: Jeff Agoos (USA) CB: Frank Sinclair (Jamaica) CB: Junior Biano (Brazil) RB: ??? CM: Carlton Palmer (England) CM: ??? CM: ??? STR: Andrea Silenzi (Italy) STR: Steve Bull(sh_t) (England) Can anyone fill in the gaps ?.
Ginola has an increased ability to singlehandedly sink teams (notably France), he has to be on the starting line-up.
Luther Blissett (England) - makes Steve Bull look like Ronaldo by comparison... Chris Albright (USA) - even more amazing than the fact that he's been capped is the fact that he's actually scored an international goal.
I wouldn't go that far. I'm not exactly the best at sports Mr. Cam, believe me. And yes Alan Fettis does deserve to be in, as he is the worst keeper to have played in the EPL, and that's including David James and Massimo Tiabi. Seamen doesn't really deserve to go in, as he was a great keeper for England over the years, but is crap now.
Updated team GK: Alan Fettis (N. Ireland) LB: Phil Neville (England) CB: Jeff Agoos (USA) CB: Frank Sinclair (Jamaica) CB: Junior Biano (Brazil) RB: ??? CM: Carlton Palmer (England) CM: David Ginola (France) CM: ??? STR: Andrea Silenzi (Italy) STR: Steve Bull(sh_t) (England)
The best player on the pitch in their loss to Australia was Nicky Salapu, the American Samoa goalkeeper. Could have been 50 or more if not for him making some incredible saves. Believe it or not, that performance earned him a few trials with Australian pro clubs...
Together we now have got: GK: Alan Fettis (N. Ireland) LB: Tim De Cler (Holland ?) CB: Jeff Agoos (USA) CB: Frank Sinclair (Jamaica) CB: Junior Biano (Brazil) RB: Phil Neville (England) CM: Carlton Palmer (England) CM: David Ginola (France) CM: ??? STR: Andrea Silenzi (Italy) STR: Steve Bull(sh_t) (England) That only leaves one midfield slot, unless there can be an even worse team made up.
Tim de Cler? Gimme a break. Too bad John Veldman played RB. But I'm 100% sure he's worse than Phil Neville.

Another candidate for worst international right back: Fouzi Al-Shehri of Saudi Arabia. Go back and watch the tape of their match against Germany, if you still have it. Al-Shehri was solely to blame for four of Germany's goals, and partially to blame for at least two more. And even when the Germans weren't scoring goals, they were going down their left side all the time because half the time there was no one playing right back. (Al-Shehri was caught in the center of midfield!) Needless to say, Fouzi Al-Shehri was benched for the rest of the tournament, and Saudi Arabia looked quite a bit more respectable against Cameroon and Ireland.
On that note, most Poles would agree that Arkadiusz Bak (defensive midfielder) had no business wearing the national team shirt... just before the World Cup one of the Polish fans referred to him as "Poland's answer to ABMOD". And if we're going on World Cup performances, consider South Africa goalkeeper Andre Arendse, who committed two howlers against Spain, in a one-goal loss. No disrespect to Spain, who played well, but their first goal came when Arendse fumbled a ball that was going straight at him, and their second goal came when Arendse was badly out of position on a free kick, standing near the opposite post from where he should have been. But then I've always thought that Andre Arendse and Hans Vonk are both dodgy...
