    I consider 5 teams to be 'safe' for playoff contention: Austin, Rochester, Vancouver, Portland, and Carolina.

    I consider 6 teams to be in the running for the remaining 3 spots: Puerto Rico, Montreal, Minnesota, Tampa Bay, Baltimore, and St. Louis! (sorry, Miami...better luck next year!)

    As Rowdies' fans, we have no bigger 'enemies' at this point than PR, Minn., and Montreal!

    Montreal won last night 2-0 (and scored within the first 20 seconds of the game!)

    I think our way into the playoffs is through Minnesota's spot. They are only 1 point up on us, but we have a game in hand. They also come to Tampa next month!
