As a Villa fan i'm pretty disgusted with the antics of Alpay. This is a bloke who pre WC 2002 was a culprit of the always dodgy, ostentatious shirt kissing, whenever he scored a goal. He also had a habit of kissing female fans in the Holte End! In every interview he was always '100% Villa', fast-forward 8 months and he's punching his own teammates and been paid 25,000 a game to sit on his couch & watch TV. All this because Turkey had a good run in the WC & his head becam inflated. I hope he ends up playing for Walsall!

Nicolas Anelka as I'm sure the fans of Arsenal, Real Madrid, PSG and now France will agree.

Roy Keane! The man has absolutely no heart or desire on the field. :)

The entire Spurs team V. Southampton.

Also check out Marcelino at Newcastle. Out for three years with a broken finger. Lol.

Van Hooiydonk at Nottm Forest 'We're rubbish, I'm going on strike!'

Rory Allen at Portsmouth 'I quit, I'm going to watch England get slaughtered at the Ashes!'

They're usually foreign and here for the money, Ravinelli and his ilk. People with no pride or self-respect. I remember Deschamp at Chelsea saying 'I've never given more than 70% in any match in England.' To which my reply was 'That explains why he's so sh1t.'

Then theres Bosnich and Bogarde at Chelsea. Everton had a few under Walter Smith. Jim Smith at Derby bought a few. Then there was Bradford at the end of their Premiership tenure, bought loads of foreigners and have gone bust as a result.

On the management side there's Gerald Houllier..............

Well Bogarde does want to play...he just ain't good enough.
Hutchinson messed up with that deal.

    Bosnich is another matter.
To say he has no heart is quite unfair. When he did get a look into the Chelsea squad last season for a brief spell he was quite good.Made a load of importent saves and was keeping down the #1 spot.
However he injured himself, let Cudicini get a look in and the rest as they say is history.

    Rebrov????

That's only a heart that doesn't work though....

Surely Stan Collymore would win this competition hands down.

REBROV!!! I think you'll find that has more to do with our maniac Messiah Hoddle. Rebrov is world class, but Hodd would rather have Docherty, Ferdi, and Iverson on the bench, and they're bum class.

True about Bogarde though. A Chelsea fan at work curses Hutch for that one, apparentely Vialli didn't want him at all. A possible bung? He is after all, the most vocal in his anti-bung pronouncements. Maybe he has something to hide?

And yes, I rate Bosnich, but it's not as though he'd go anywhere else to get first team footie while he's raking in £40.000 a week is it?

I don't know this for sure, since the man rarely talks...but alot of people have a problem with Emile Heskey because of his stonefaced performances on the pitch. To many, it translates into "this is a job, and nothing more".

    Ronaldo!

I think Mr Ronaldo has not got much of a heart. He made it look like he had a row with the Inter manager and that is why he left but infact he left for the money, like nearly all Real Madrid players, lol.

    Ronaldo

This was thread about PREMIERSHIP footballers. But you baited me.

I have to disagree on your assessment of Ronaldo. He came back from 2 knee injuries and won a world cup. Most people would of hung it up from injuries like that. People said he wouldn't be the same. Granted, his play at Real Madrid has been un-Ronaldo like, he is still world-class and does play his ass off. I'm not really even a Ronaldo fan but give the man his due.

We could have an entire thread on Newcastle players without a heart, for example:

    Marcelino (as mentioned before)

    Silvio Maric

Alessandro Pistone (famously given a sheep's heart from the other players as a Xmas gift)

I could go on, but would end up bursting into tears.

I will defend Laurent Robert up to a point, however. When he does track back, which isn't always, he does try and get stuck in. It is a shame he doesn't know how to tackle. I think his sometimes apparent laziness is more down to lack of concentration rather than a lack of willingness.
