Players defer pay in exchange for keeping the team together

    Apparently, the players agreed to defer a fair chunk of their wages in exchange for a promise to keep the team together for the end of the year. Looks like the players aren't quite as selfish and greedy as fans had made them out to be. In fact, they did us fans a favor by forcing management to keep together our best possible team for the promotion push! Fortunately, the financial pressure on City has now eased a bit.
