Goalkeepers that wear Vapors don't deserve my respect!

I think we might see some sock boots in the England game. Wilshere is warming up in a pair of Magistas, and Raheem Sterling has posted a picture on his Instagram account of his SFs. I wonder how long pros with give these boots before just going back to the regular versions of the boots.

Can anybody tell what Lallana is wearing? He's been a mainstay with Puma for a while but doesn't look to me like he's wearing Tricks..

I'm also guessing that the England players have been give old school squad numbers considering some of the players in the starting 11 are wearing numbers higher than 11 i.e.) Lallana.

Just think of Oliver Kahn in his raging prime, with some new vapors sg-pro on, flying towards you kung-fu style, trying to rip your legs apart.

Sounds like a greek poem, haha. :p

What bugs me is that some of the pro's aren't even wearing the "top of the line" model that they're trying to sell us.

Gio Dos Santos is rocking the regular model as well as Hernandez. Do they not like flyknit?

I think it's nice that there's choice - The Opus and Vapor both feel like 'pro' boots. It's not like the days of the Superfly I, II & III where the Vapor was made to feel second-rate and only Nani seemed to wear them.

Additionally, FlyKnit isn't going to be for everyone - at least they're not creating unique boots 'disguised' as the top-tier model, which is something that has managed to grind a few gears when it's been done before with other boots.

Hmm - looks like they were the Neo Lime at one point thanks to that Silver tongue marking them out.

Still, that's a really impressive black-out job, hats off to that man!

Man that's a tough one, on another picture i saw, i looks to have a powerspine soleplate. So some form of Adidas perhaps? There's a rugby boot company using the powerspine on their new boots, but can't quite connect the dots here.

Looks like an adiPure soleplate to me - maybe the III's with a custom upper design?

I never saw these boots in my life...

    Changing the subject...
Q: What would you do if your Mercurial Vapor 10 hadn't carbon fiber soleplates?
A: Do like Drogba: place one of a Mercurial Vapor SL 4!

Just saw an England team photo of the game against Ecuador. Counted 4 Opus' yet not top tier Magistas, including Barkley who is back in the CTR/Magista lineup after flirting with the Hypevenoms. Interestingly enough, only Sterling was in the Superfly's, with most of the Ecuador mercurial wearers opting for the Vapors. Interesting that add into the mix of Drogba, Hazard and Ibra wearing the vapors too, wonder how popular the Superflys will be?

I think most Pros are going to just want to wear a normal boot - I think once the hype has died down anyone who is wearing the Magista like Jack Wilshere will opt out and go for a standard boot. i really like the boot but you can see why players might not want to wear them.
