Yeah me too but they don't have that much of money and are hesitant to use that kind of money.

absolutely don't blame them, but they're such a match made in (football boot) heaven, considering all the circumstances sigh.

David Silva was wearing Predators vs Tunisia on Saturday. Not a fan of the new X it seems

It's because there's no leather option in the new X.

Aren't the leather Predators only available to professionals?

Yes, and that was the case also for the the X. But now with the X 18.1 there's no leather option even for pros. Thomas Muller, De Gea, Azpilicueta, etc .. Are now wearing the synthetic X18.1. But David Silva opted for staying with leather by switching to the Predator 18.1 Leather version.
I remember him always wearing leather, he was one of the adiPure main faces.
If the rumors are true about adidas promoting Copa 19 with the pros, I can see him wearing them.

I don't understand their marketing at all.
It makes some since to remove the leather option from the X and Predator to focus on the Copa with pro sponsorship, but why would you wait until after the World Cup?
Everyone will be glued to their screen for the next month and it looks like some pros want to wear a leather boot. Adidas is giving the Glitch more ad time for the World Cup than the Copa and it's not even available worldwide...the Copa is even named after the tournament.

I read that they make these wholes to reduce tension on the calf muscles.

I too find it weird, I hope we don't see it becoming offcialized by football manufacturers by making socks with wholes hahaha.

Not a recent spotting, but I was just watching a BBC documentary about WC 1994, it was the first world cup I ever saw, I still remember those days, the stars, the goals and everything. Such a nostalgic trip.
And also a nostalgic trip with boots, there was lots of Copa Mundial, Lotto, Diadora worn by Roberto Baggio, Predator which was newly released, Reebok (RIP) worn by Batistuta, Puma King worn by Maradona, Nike The Premier worn by Romario Mizuno worn by Zola and Kelme used by Luis Enrique. Such a lovely journey with classy leather boots.
I wish nowadays we see such diversity of brands, instead of Nike and adidas hugely dominating the market.

The 1994 WC was the beginning of the end for boot variety. That was the year that Nike got serious about player and team sponsorship and started snapping up every marketable player and team they could get there hands on after the tournament. adidas has maintained their market share for the most part but Nike's dominance has cannibalized all of the smaller brands.

Yeah it's a shame, right now Nike are dominating the market of players, I can assure you that Nike alone has more than 60% of professional footballers. I hate that to be honest.

Not sure if this has been posted anywhere (especially Footy Headlines) but Arsenal head coach Unai Emery has been wearing what seems to be a low-cut Puma One 1.
This is similar to what Morgan Sanson (Olympique de Marseille) wears as well, but blacked out.

Guys, anyone knows what boot is worn by Christian Fuchs? He usually wears Puma but this looks unknown to me.
