Quite satisfied, the boys done good, for a long period, should have been 5-1, keeper played his balls off :(

James 7 Sound as a pound, apart from the flap at that free-kick and should have held on to it for longer.

Johnson 6 Started dodgy but got better as the game went on.

Terry 7 How about that diving header and the towering header at the other end?

Upson 6 Bit off the pace.

    Cashley 7 Good performance.

Milner 6 some good crosses but still gave the ball away a lot.

Lampard 6 OK ish, can only get better.

    Barry 6 Improving.

Stevie 8 MOM gave it everything.

Looney 6 Huge improvement, still looks like he's carrying an injury. Clearly got the hump when he was taken off.

    Defoe 7 Busy, good goal.

Joey 5 OK needs a run.

Bruno 5 OK, bit of a surprise to most in the GC, but not to me, brought on to hold it up and did just that.

Would prefer Serbia or Ghana, for obvious reasons...:)

Rooney played pretty well. His problem is being continually played in a deep role while Heskey, Defoe play in his natural position, of that i'm certain.

100% agree, ive been saying this since the start of the WC, rooney needs to be pushing forward and leaning on defences not playing a "center attack midfield" he's playing VERY deep and yesterday he was spending way to much time out on the left basicly taking our biggest threat out of the game.....

    =-=-=
if we bring J.cole on he needs to be down the left he will tear that wing up, wasnt really impressed last night with him playing a more right sided to central role, we need joe on the LEFT!!!...

lampard needs dropping as an impact sub, not really making a statment in games, lampard has been the quietest out of all the team so far..

david james: what can i say the guy was sollid all day, im a GK and those balls that were comming in are a keepers nightmare an the pitch was a discrace, but james's handling was top notch all game,

the deffence as a who is getting better, was worried about this at the start but its getting stronger and that 33 chancees they had yesterday and we stood strong with terry and upson, that will give our back 4 the world of confidence...

not the gratest performance but TBH i was looking for canifdence levels to get a much needed boost and i think we got that, so yea it wasnt just about winning, i wish we could have had about 3 goes and get rooney on the score sheet as that would have fixed rooney but i think he will come alive against germany
