Well, it’s an old legal question, in how far sports is bound to the general rules of the law. Usually the courts accept everything that is linked with the typical dangers of a sports and it stops at the limits of intentional violation. This time a soccer player went too far: in a recent game a twenty year old amateur said to a player that he’ll be fouled out today. Minutes later he fouled this guy, who suffered a shin and calf bone fracture. The injured player sued and the court sentenced the other one to one week youth arrest because of actual bodily harm.
