Washington just beat Atlanta 3-2 on a 92nd minute goal. Here's what needs to happen for the 'Rays to make it to the play-offs.

-If Washington wins, the CyberRays can grab the fourth spot from Atlanta with four points and two more Atlanta losses on Wednesday and Saturday.
-If Washington wins, the CyberRays can grab the fourth spot from Atlanta with six points (two victories) if Atlanta finishes with a tie and a loss in its Wednesday and Saturday games.

Atlanta's remaining matches(both in Atlanta) are againist San Diego, who the Beat have beaten twice this year and the Charge, who have beaten the Beat both times this season. The Beat just played SD this week and beat them up 4-1.

Not that it matters anymore, but Washington has only 1 game remaining at New York and the Freedom are 1-1 againist them this season.

It's time for us to turn into big Spirit fans and later in the week, Charge fans. Never have I been so concerned with either of those two teams until now. This is exciting though, isn't it?

San Diego played well on Saturday, and when they play Atlanta on Wednesday, they'll have an extra days rest.

San Diego got a huge break in the weather, as major thunderstorms dropped the temps 15 degrees.

I'd expect the Charge to be resting half the starters against San Jose and half against Atlanta.

Atlanta going Sunday-Wednesday-Saturday is a tough sequence, given losing in extra time on Sunday.

Final note, weather for Wednesday in Philadelphia will break, NO stinking humidity and heat till NEXT weekend.
