Sounds to me like you've got a keeper there! Anyway, went to watch the Fireworks down at La Jolla Cove tonight. Really a great setting for a fireworks show. Stood on the bluffs, right at the edge of the Pacific, and watched one helluva good show. Some people were watching from ocean kayaks, looked like a cool idea. I might have to try that next year.

went to lunch with my parents yesterday before that, spent the weekend with my girlfriend's family in Wisconsin. Other than the fact that everyone else was wearing Wisconsin, Packers, Iowa and North Carolina stuff (I was wearing my Illini t-shirt and a bird pooped on me to tell me I wasn't welcome) it was pleasant.
