Sevilla v Wolves should be a cracker of a match. We are really going to need to earn our spot in the final to get past either team.
Hojbjerg to Spurs is done. https://www.skysports.com/football/...ampton-midfielder-completes-tottenham-medical Good deal for them, considering they are short on cash. In a separate deal Walker-Peters will be going to Soton permanently for 12mil.
Big boost for PSG as Mbappe took full part in today's training session ahead of their game vs Atalanta. Imagine he'll surely start this one on the bench still, but he could be available if the situation dictates it.
Jimenez misses the opportunity to give Wolves the lead from the spot. Badly taken pk. Big break for Sevilla who have been slow out of the gates. Better from Sevilla as the half progresses. But they're having a hard time finding a way into that tight Wolves defense. Just a pain to play against.
As Banega goes, so does Sevilla: hardly saw him early on but grew in stature and Sevilla were noticeably better as well. Will be interesting to see who Ole chooses to look after him should we play them: one of the main danger man for this Sevilla team for sure.
Man, Sevilla really, really like the Europa League. They are basically the Real Madrid of the Europa...
So Sevilla it is then. Good, we've got a receipt for them from 2yrs ago. They're a good and dangerous team (Banega is going to be a threat that needs to be neutralized) but they're probably more manageable than Wolves for sure and should make for a better game as well. The other semi will be Inter Milan vs Shaktar Donetsk after they beat Basel convincingly 4-1.
I'd have taken Wolves in a heartbeat. They're spent. I'm not all that confident against Sevilla, we're going to have to sort some of our shit out of we want to beat them and I'm worried that our rigid first XI will stop us being tactically flexible enough to shut Banega out of the game. We need to put Park on him.
Sevilla looked good but at the same time Wolves didn't really offer much resistance. they have all the energy in the world for us but had precious little today. i expected more from them. very passive and went out tamely imo. even so Wolves showed how they could be had on the break. we pose a threat as well. it would be disappointing if we only tried to counter them without exerting our influence
Lolol Even funnier that the defender waited until he got in the box to make a tackle, what sbout 60 yards ago?
