more: Barcelona informed on 15th July to Frenkie de Jong that they have found evidence of criminal actions against the parties who signed his contract renewal back in October 2020. Barça have told Frenkie de Jong that they will annul his existing contract and return to the deal he was on before, alleging the terms given by Bartomeu's board involves criminality and provide ground for legal action against those involved. There has been further dialogue between Barcelona and de Jong’s camp, in which the present board have identified Bartomeu's board for the alleged criminality and warned that de Jong and his representatives may also be implicated. Barcelona are engaged in similar conversations with Piqué, ter Stegen and Lenglet, who renewed together with de Jong.
