MANCHESTER UNITED V TOTTENHAM HOTSPUR PREMIER LEAGUE SUNDAY 4 OCTOBER OLD TRAFFORD KICK-OFF: 4.30PM GMT THFC Injuries - Gareth Bale (out, knee) - Heung-Min Son (25%, thigh) - Giovani Lo Celso (25%, muscular tightness) Manchester United Injuries - Axel Tuanzebe (out, ankle/foot) - Harry Maguire (100%, ankle/knee) - Bruno Fernandes (75%, thigh) - Sergio Romero (out, N/A) - Phil Jones (out, knee) Form (all matches) THFC - WWDWW Manchester United - WWWL I can see the light at the end of the tunnel! After going through just a *touch* of fixture congestion, the last match of the brutal run is here. Form and morale seem to be high among the squad, but this will certainly be the hardest test yet. PL Match Centre Anthony Taylor will be the man in the middle of this match. As far as an XI, I think it should be more of the same rotation that we've seen the past couple weeks. I think Dele could sneak into the XI given GLC's fitness, but wouldn't be shocked if Gio gets the nod. I think Reguilon may get his first full PL debut here as well. I'll go with this: ek's predicted XI Lloris Doherty - Dier - Sanchez - Reguilon Ndombele - Hojbjerg Lamela - Dele - Bergwijn Kane NBCSN will be carrying the action on Sunday.
Even though I have rocketed up to 3rd bottom in the COYSTRADAMUS table, I have zero confidence going into this one. The Man U players hate Jose to a man, so they will be looking to stick it to him once more. We will need to score at least 3 to get a result, since United are guaranteed to get at least one pen and we will concede another from open play.
That would be a good lineup, though that center back pairing always makes me nervous. What do the percentages mean? Percent chance that they will be in the squad, or percent chance they will be out?
Bergwijn played most of Tuesday in the League Cup and all of Thursday's match. Though his performances will surely have earned him more minutes in the near future, I'd be a bit surprised to see him starting again on Sunday.
Tottenham XI Lloris Aurier - Dier - Sanchez - Reguilon Hojbjerg - Sissoko Lamela - Ndombele - Son Kane Subs Hart, Doherty, Alderweireld, Davies, Winks, Alli, Moura Man Utd XI De Gea Wan-Bissaka - Maguire - Bailly - Shaw Pogba - Matic Greenwood - Fernandes - Rashford Martial Subs Henderson, Lindelof, Mata, Liongard, Fred, van de Beek, McTominay
Son finishes off a Kane quick free kick... 2-1 after 8' And yes, the PL assist leader wears #10 for Tottenham.
