So Mourinho has gone full Bill Belichick for this match. Is Harry healthy? Is Harry injured? Is Hugo alive? Where did Sergio go? Does Toby still have both legs? Who knows?!

All of this to mean that predicting the XI is *not* going to be as straightforward as it normally is. I do think Rodon had a solid debut last week, so if Toby doesn't pass his fitness test, I can see a Dier/Rodon pairing again. Hugo has been on the injury list for a couple of weeks now, so I wouldn't be shocked to see him given a full rest.

    ek's predicted XI
    Lloris
    Aurier - Dier - Rodon - Reguilon
    Hojbjerg - Ndombele - Sissoko
    Bergwijn - Kane - Son

The Arse are shite, and no mistake. Apparently they've had some kind of 'get it all out in the open' team meeting where they could hash out their 'issues'. I suspect they'll remain shite for some time to come, regardless; but I still don't feel good about this one. We should handle 'em ... but I don't think we will.

I could actually score some COYStradamus points, here, I'm afraid.

Yeah, that's kinda where I am. It is Arsenal, so despite where they stand, they should be motivated. But this Spurs team just had shitty defensive performance against an Austrian team. So it could be a 5-1 victory, or a 0-1 loss. I really have no idea.

A Jose Classic, 1-0, with the winner being a Xhaka own goal, one shot on target and 38% possession.

    I'm bricking it.

I'm going down to the Deer Park Pub here in a bit, where I will begin consuming Pilsner Urquells until, one way or another, I am no longer stressing about it.

Kane to Son. Son to Kane.

If the second half is anywhere near as good as the first, I'll be having a very good week.

Well, that is a quite pleasant result.

Was splitting time between this game and F1 so my assessment may be off, but this looked similar to the City match, but felt a lot less comfortable … maybe it was because it’s Arsenal and they’re shit and was expecting less Jose-ball.

Good clinical result today... would’ve been nice to get another goal but 2-0, a clean sheet and another 3 pts to keep us top.No complaints about that. There’s belief in this team, good partnerships and spirit. What a goal from Son!

    COYS!

I was way too optimistic on the possession, we only had 31%. Somewhere out there, Claudio Ranieri is watching and smiling with a big glass of Chianti in his hand.

I don't think it is the manager. I think it is that they don't have a Kane or Aguero/De Bruyne or Salah, a player who can lift the team on their own.

I think I am conditioned to just overestimate them and underestimate us. "Forever in their shadow" or something like that. When in reality we have been quite clearly the better team consistently for at least 5 years now.

It's only the manager to the extent that he is responsible for their player acquisitions. To say that Arsenal are a big club with pedigree is an understatement. Have a good look up and down their roster and tell me that heads shouldn't roll. It's amazing the shit they've got - and the wages on which they have them! This isn't a case of players downing tools because the gaffer's taken their ketchup. Those just aren't good players. They're 15th on merit.

In the last 7 Pl games, Arsenal have more foul throws than goals: 3-2.
