That's the problem with Dembele. His scoring record should be better. He plays a more advanced role centrally. Dempsey didn't play up front THAT often. You are really trying to put him down without even being close to correct. Dempsey took less shots than half that per game. Fulham don't even have the capability to have a commanding hold of a game for him to get even half. He had even less when Zamora was there. He only played 3 to 4 games up front. His usual position was on the left and he have license to cut inside or make a run into the box.

You obviously don't know enough about Dempsey if you think he can't.

I think Diaby had a decent game, but he's obviously a limited player - his forward passing is weak, and he doesn't have the greatest shot. Diaby's not the sort of player who should play against teams who bunker - he's probably way more useful against the likes of Liverpool.

If Dempsey's so good, why don't you propose that Mr. Alex buy him instead?

some of his other posts are sheer comedy gold btw.

Yes I can see later on in the season Wilshere in the middle and Cazorla on the right.

It's not solely the goal grought that is concerning, but Arsenal didn't really create many real goal-scoring opportunities. They had a couple of half chances, but that really was it. But with Diaby, Cazorla, Giroud and Podolski not playing last year, it's not that much of a surprise tha the attack looked disjointed. Like always, I'll wait until we've played 10 games to judge the attack. I just hope the league isn't gone before that.

We have played Sunderland and Stoke City. They hardly have the most dominant and creative midfields in the league.

Those commentators are idiots. He also said, "Good start to the league for Arsenal. They have had 2 clean sheets." When did clean sheets count for points. We have 2 points in 2 games, and we haven't scored one goal. That's not good enough for the Arsenal. These neutered males kill me.

Reminds me of Chamakh...but I'll give him time to prove it.

I like Giroud - his movement is pretty good, and he does get into space. Chamakh was just a donkey.

Giroud has much better movement than Chamakh ever did and he at least looks like he wants to score.

    but he does play slow

there is a rumor Chamakh is off to Malaga. Not sure if true tho

I dont see the need for a DM. Our problem is not defense and I dont see the problem at defense for the whole season. I see a team that could use another player who has Premier League experience and who is on good form in the Premier League. Dempsey fills in experience and somewhat good form (who knows after missing the first 2 weeks). He should only be brought in if no one else can and looking at the situation, no one is after him right now. Liverpool dont need him. I say we could get him maybe the day the window closes like we did with Arteta.

Again, he should be a last resort, not a guy we bid for now. Lets fish in the deep market.

It'd be cool if we could score a goal.

    That's all I got.

He scored 6 league goals and 3 CL goals in 2010. Those first 6 months was his best.
