I drew up a little list of goal scoring adjusted for both PK's made and drawn. Players got .8 goals for drawing a PK (PK's were converted this year 81% of the time), and the penalty takers get .2 goals if they make it. They lose .8 goals for missing the kick. The new list contains pretty much the same players as the 'Budweiser scoring leaders' list, but they're in significantly different order. I can't format a chart, so hopefully this will be legible, it's in the form [non-PK Goals, assists, pk's made, pk's attempted, pk's drawn, adjusted points]: ------------------G----A--m---a---d-pts 1. Twellman - 15 - 4 - 0 - 1 - 1 - 34 2. Preki ------- 7 -17 - 5 - 6 - 1 - 33 3. Chung ----- 11 - 6 - 0 - 0 - 1 - 29.6 4. Donovan -- 11 - 6 - 1 - 1 - 0 - 28.4 5. Ralph ----- 10 - 6 - 1 - 1 - 1 - 28 6. Noonan --- 10 - 7 - 0 - 0 - 0 - 27 6. Ruiz -------- 8 - 5 - 7 - 8 - 3 - 27 8. Spencer --- 10 - 5 - 4 - 5 - 1 - 26.6 9. McBride -----10 - 3 - 2 - 2 - 1 - 25.4 10. Razov ----- 9 - 6 - 5 - 6 - 0 - 24.4 11. Buddle --- 10 - 4 - 0 - 0 - 0 - 24 12. Beasley --- 7 - 5 - 0 - 0 - 2 - 22.2 13. Mullan ----- 6 - 9 - 0 - 0 - 0 - 21
Adjusting those numbers to points/90, we get: 1. Twellman 1.62 2. Noonan 1.48 3. Buddle 1.43 4. Donovan 1.36 5. Ralph 1.27 6. Preki 1.1 7. Spencer 1.06 8. Ruiz 1.04 9. Beasley 1.01 10. Chung 1.01 11. Mcbride .98 12. Razov .97 13. Mullan .69
