let's get this one started. Thick crust or thin? freezer (store-bought) or hot and fresh? Maybe made from scratch All the toppings or just cheese? ---------- Crust doesn't matter. As does where it came from. And I gotta have something on the top besides cheese. But hold the little fishies.
There's a papa john's pepperoni in my fridge right now. It was free. Free food. The best kind there is.
Papa Johns with breadsticks for quick delivery. Giordano's Chicago-Style: fresh, reheated, shipped frozen and cooked in my over...doesn't matter.
Giordanos If you've never tried it, I highly reccomend you order one, even the ones cooked in your own oven are good...not as good as fresh, but worth it. If you can pick one up at the restaurant, even better.
The ones I posted are chains, but in my opinion, they're the best that I have had. And Pizza Time's are so freaking cheap that I used to scarf it down all the time. Their sauce was pretty good for generic.
OK this is a question for you DC folks.... Several years ago I was stumbling around Adams Morgan and found this place that sold pizza outside their store. I think I scarfed down four slices that night. I do believe it is on the street opposite the bar that has the big ass lady on the side of the building. What is the damn name of it!?
http://pizzaidf.com/ - Send some pie to some Israeli soldiers. A girl I know who used to live in Israel tells me the pizza there is quite good. Who knew? Best in Nashville (7 years ago, at least): Obie's Flying Tomato Pizza Davinci's (best sauce I've ever had) Best in Atlanta: Camelli's monster slice Rocky's Brick Oven Pizza Chimi Churri Pie Baraonda
best national chain: toss up Papa Johns and Pizza Hut, Papa Johns is much more real tasting, but I love Pizza Hut's thin crust Best pizza in Jackson, MS; my hometown: Brick Oven, although Old Venice which opened not long before I left for school was good too. Best pizza in Tempe, Az; Slices, nice big slices, and cheap. also like Mellow Mushroom a small chain i've eaten at in Atlanta
https://www.bigsoccer.com/forum/showthread.php?threadid=10791&perpage=15&pagenumber=1 This is the thread, it should be moved to its rightful home. Good place in Atlanta - Uncle Vito's - all over town, but I've eaten at the one in Marrietta, Cherry Hill Road I believe.
When I went down to the Winter Olympics in SLC...the place that I ate at was called "The Pi (the Pi symbol)". It was in the basement and was dark and noisy. EXCELLENT pizza. Very cheesy and greasy. It is on the outskirts of the University of Utah campus.
Well, if you ever happen to be in Santiago-Chile and you love cheese, then you must each a five cheese pizza at Wallo's - with the border filled with cheese cream. Mmmmmmmm! Delicious!
