I believe the general public is very confused on this stadium issue and thats the case. That and maybe some are still banking on walkup, or they want the stadium to be 100% done before they come. Hell I don't know, thats all the excuses I got, we got a brand new state-of-the-art facility and you still can't sell out a half sized version, I give up on people in this country, if they don't want to come fine, their loss.
There is another one somewhere else, in fact the origional one, that seems to be working fine. *smirks*
You might be right on the first one, but you are off base on the second statement. There have been no freebie giveaways for the first game. Not even the hispanic stations have had any tickets to give away like they have had up until this week.
There are always tickets set aside for youth soccer groups. There are tickets that at set aside "on consignment" with local businesses. <-- if those are not sold or donated to the business, they will be returned.
I don't know about youth soccer, but unsold tickets from Men's Rec were returned at the request of FCD, and won't be counted as attendance. And hence will not be counted as attendance.
Just for your confirmation the NTPSA sold all their 500 tickets. There were some returned from the consignment they had at the NTPSA office last Saturday and they have subsequently been sold over the phone this week.
Cool...I didn't realize those I saw on Sunday were above and beyond the original 500 allotment. Good to know, thanks for the info.
Best seast available (per Ticketmaster) 1:30PM Update-Checking for a pair of tickets. What's concerning is the amount of tickets that are probably available in the south end. $40 - SOLD OUT $25 - SOLD OUT $23 - Section 101 Row 10 $21 - Section 125 Row 19 $16 - Section 121 Row 8 $10 - Section 117 Row 5
I did it with a block of 4 just to see: $23 - SOLD OUT $21 - Section 125 Row 19 $16 - Section 121 Row 17 $10 - Section 117 Row 5 fwiw
I have one pair of freebies ...of couse they came attached to the most expensive kit I've ever bought...
I got freebies, but that's due to my amazing ability to guess attendances....which is why you should heed my 13.5k prediction.
From the chat: Jason from Dallas How close is FC Dallas to selling all available seats (15K) for the game on Saturday? Greg Elliott We're virtually there right now. There's probably less than a couple hundred left and we have a stack of orders at the office so by close of business today all the 15,000 seats should be accounted for.
I bought my tickets yesterday at the FCD office, and I saw "the piles of orders" that had yet to be converted into tickets. I commented to the other person that was there buying tickets that they probably should hire a couple of additional data entry people to make sure that everybody that mailed in a request for tickets will actually get them.
But "on consignment" tickets are not the same thing as ticket giveaways. And my point was that FCD isn't giving away any tickets to this match.
If they have work that needs to be done, bring it out to the parking lot...there will be lots of bored effers out there. As long as the work doesn't need to be done by a sober person.
I live in Los Angeles. Hope you guys have success in your first match in your own stadium like we did. I thought the stadium was going to hold 22k? Did that change? Anyways, congrats on the new park. Good luck and see you soon!!!!
$40 - SOLD OUT $25 - Section 127 Row 28 $23 - Section 101 Row 6 $21 - Section 131 Row 7 $16 - SOLD OUT $10 - Section 117 Row 8
If you don't have tickets..I suggest you get on it $40 - SOLD OUT $25 - Section 127 Row 29 $23 - Section 111 Row 28 $21 - Section 131 Row 7 $16 - SOLD OUT $10 - SOLD OUT (Singles Only)
GE seemed confident on the 15K. Maybe Uncle Lamar will purchase the rest to ensure a sellout. You won't be able to tell with the 6K plus of empty seats.
