According to a friend of mine, a realtor, the president of the new branch of the Bridgeview Bank is none other than our own Piotr Nowak. My friend was offered Fire tix by a mortgage banker he deals with. He asked what was up, and the guy said, Piotr gives them to us for clients. He could give no explanation of what Piotr brings to the table. My guess is its mostly a marketing thing, though I really have no reason to doubt Piotr's business acumen. It just seems pretty random and unlikely unless it's a way of marketing to Poles in the area. I have this image of a young couple trying to get a loan: Well, you seem to qualify, but we have to run everything by Mr. Nowak. It's the off-season, but we expect him back from Czestochowa at the beginning of next week ...
Yeah, it's interesting but old news...I think he's been president or in line to be president for like a year now...I'm not sure.
You might think so, but one of the biggest, if not the biggest ethnic group in Bridgeview is Palestinian Arab. At least I know where to go if I want a good leg of lamb.
